The exact opposite - he left Warren precisely because Warren was contractually tied to making the Khan-Maidana fight happen.

I dont see any facts? And regardless if this is true or not, he will end up against the best sooner or later if he is good enough to get there.

in boxing the old is fed to its young.

        been like that since forever.

remember even ali fought an undersized , over the hill archie moore.
Ali hadn't already won a world title then. And he didn't ever duck anyone.

It's not true anyway. Khan would have made good money against Maidana. Not quite as much as against Marquez, but he'd still have made a lot more against Maidana than he's made in any fight he's had up to now. Maidana is a far bigger name than Roach is pretending, having destroyed Ortiz live on HBO in a fight of the year candidate; and everyone wanted to know whether Khan is capable of beating a big puncher, so the fight would have generated massive interest.

Roach disagrees with you. He said it's an extremely dangerous fight and that he would rather Khan vacate than to take the fight. That's why Khan left Warren, because Warren would have made the fight.

It rings true. One minute Maidana was saying he would enforce the mandatory, the next minute he's agreed to fight Cayo in a non-title bout, with no mention of fighting Khan any time in the future, and no mention of the title, despite the fact that GPB have made it clear that they don't want Khan to face Maidana any time in the foreseeable future.

GBP said that after JMM, they want Khan to fight Zab next, which is just pathetic. And after Zab, they claim they want Khan to fight Mayweather!!

Why would Maidana suddenly back down on enforcing his mandatory with Khan, and why would he turn down a fight with Bradley, FFS, if it weren't for the fact the HBO have stitched him up?

Boxing is a sport, not just a business. In a sport you don't call yourself a world champion while avoiding anyone you think is a risk to your chin. If he doesn't think he's ready to fight anyone with a big punch, he shouldn't have fought for a world title, and he should vacate it now. This is the sort of thing that is making boxing a laughing stock and destroying it as a mainstream sport.

Will people stop popping at Khan? How is it Khans fault if HBO and GB want to protect him? Please let me know.

I hope people give Khan respect when he kicks Marquez, Paulie and Maidanas asses
