You're not buying possible the biggest fight that can be made in Boxing right now, besides Pac vs Mayweather

The jab is what will keep mosley at bay and stop him from finding his rythm. Floyd's power IMO is underrated. He is accurate and generally when he hits an opponent with a big one.....they don't see it coming.

Skills win fights not power. Thats why this is such a good fight. Both men are skilled. Floyd is more skilled but Shanes power gives him an equaliser. Power without skill is useless......I've seen Danny Green spar and train.....his right hand could punch a hole in a tank.....seriously he hits really really hard.....but skills wise he is ****.....he is slow, flat footed, one dimensional, does not move his head enough, not smart in the ring, and cannot adjust when things are not working. Shane has power and skill...........

Floyd doesn't have to have pop to keep Shane at bay. All he needs is accurate counters, and control of distance. What people fail to realize is Floyd's footwork is superior to Mosley's. Shane will not be able to cut the ring off. If he can't cut the ring off then he loses this fight.

shanes footwork is ok..... until he throws.....soon as he starts throwing punches his footwork goes down the toilet..........i tend to agree with this assessment.....Shane needs to do something early on or risk getting out smarted........

70 year old SHANE will kill him if MAYWEATHER shows up.

MAYWEATHER is fragile and when MOSLEY lands his right bombs then it will be sayonara party over.

Me either. I'm not really hot on fights where the outcome is certain. And I can't see any possible way that Mosley can beat Floyd at this stage. I thought he should've retired a couple years ago after the Cotto loss.

Unless Shane grows old in the fight, I can't honestly see any possible way Floyd can beat him.I am one that truly thinks Shane is actually quicker than Floyd. He doesn't react faster to punches being thrown at him like Floyd, but he lets his hands go with more purpose and speed than Floyd.Shane's overhand right and left hook are second to none in the business. He has a granite chin and knows how to hold and get rest on the inside. There was a time when Floyd probably could have outboxed Shane. But with ****r Richardson now in his corner,I don't see that happening.****r brings the best out in Shane. He now uses his gifts to the best of his ability.Floyd is going to make Shane miss a whole lot in this fight, but defense will not win it for him and Shane will eventually catch up with him.I see Shane out working him for a UD or a late round stoppage.Remember, Floyd has never fought a bigger man than him with the same or better hand speed. He's going to get hit with some bombs in this fight. We know that Floyd has a champion's skill and ego.We will discover in this fight if he has a champion's chin and heart.

The TS has a legit question but I think he defitely does. Some compare this fight to Oscar but they say Shane is faster. However, that Floyd was a 140 pounder fighting at WW. He was only coming into the ring at 146 and looked out of place at WW, let alone 154. This fight will be at WW and he's a good size bigger than he was back then. I dont think Floyd pot shots Shane. I think he's grown into his frame now and will therefore let his hands go more. I also think that Mosley's aggressive style will allow Floyd to open up more and give him more oppurtunites. I do wish that Floyd wouldve fought someone else before going straight to Shane because I think it could possibly be a shock to Floyd's system to have a 2 year layoff, have one fight against a smaller JMM, and then go straight to a big strong Shane.

He probably wouldve been better off fighting a Cintron 1st to adjust to the size & strength but Floyd spars with big guys so I think he will hold his own. I think Floyd will also shock alot of you by how physical he is. If Shane holds then I dont think Floyd will fight it because it will waste too much energy. I think he will let Shane push him where he wants because when he gets to the ropes or whatever, then he can still counter Shane easily. He'll let Shane wear himself out with the holding. When they are toe to toe on the inside, I see Floyd shocking people and winning all those battles. Someone said Shane can stop him late but there is no way he can do that. No one under SMW can do that. If Floyd gets stopped then its going to be because he got caught by one shot where he either didnt see it or his timing was just off. With him being so inactive, Shane could catch him with 1 straight hard right down the pipe that he throws sometimes but most likely he will hardly ever hit Floyd clean and when he does, Floyd will most likely have takened the power from it by rolling on it.

Offensivley, I think Floyd will snap Shane's head back alot as it will be there like a sitting duck. Its like a catch 22 for Shane. If he doesnt move his head then the accurate Floyd will have target practice but if he spends alot of time worried about moving his head, I think it will hurt his offense so I think he's screwed in that regard
