Mayweather vs Pacquiao at 126 or 130

Who do you think would win between Mayweather and Pacquiao during their featherweight days? I think Mayweather would win because he was quicker and stronger than he is now. In my opinion his 126-140 days were his best. Although his defense wasn't as great, it was still very good and he also had more offense in his arsenal. I could see Pac chasing him and trying to pressure him all night, while getting countered for nearly every punch with the decision being 116-112 decision in favor of Mayweather. I see Floyd throwing around 250 punches and Pac throwing about 330, with Floyd landing 150 and Pac landing about 80-90. I can also see Floyd controlling him with his jab and possibly dropping him if he lands the right shot (in my opinion Floyd was stronger and more accurate than JMM at featherweight, who seemed to hurt Pac a lot with his counters).

I think this would be more action packed than it would be at 147. Their would even be a slugfest possibility in some rounds since Floyd was more willing to trade at that weight.

Mayweather never fought at 126. At 130 Mayweather is just too smart and technical for Pacquiao. At 147???????? Maybe one day we will find out.

      "Defense wasn't as great"

Disagree man. Corrales, Genaro, Gerena, Manfredy could hardly lay a hand on him. Jesus Chavez did catch him with some good shots over the top, Carlos Hernandez landed a good amount of shots but both of Mayweather's hands were messed up in that bout. Other then that, I honestly don't see how his defense is better now. It's the same in my opinion. Thing is Mayweather was so much faster back then he took advantage of that, he doesn't have that overall speed anymore but he's still very quick. Anyway, from 130-140 I'd easily pick Mayweather.

I believe he started out at 126. He didn't win a titlebut I recall him having a few fights there.

And poof******* don't be a Pac **** swallower...At least state why you believe that he would KO him because I highly doubt it, seeing how Floyd was too quick on his feet and he has a great chin. I don't see either getting stopped but if anybody was KO'ed, it would be Pac in my opinion.

Mayweather beats Pac easily at 126, 130 and 135....no contest.

Pac has improved a great deal in the last 2 or 3 years.....but the Manny at those weights would be KO'd by floyd. He did not have the versatility he has now. His right hook has only developed in the last few yrs. Anybody who knows anything about a southpaw will tell you they are limited unless they can throw the right hook effectively. If they can do that they become a much better fighter.------------> see Sergio Martinez, Whittaker, Dawson (though a natural righty), Bute as examples of southpaws who are good because they haver the right hook in their arsenal.

At 147 as of today..i give Manny a good chance against Floyd.

Yeah....the problem for Chavez was he stepped up and actually hit Floyd. Then floyd rained down the punishment for the next 2 rds and they threw the towel in. Some of those uppercuts he hit Chavez with were absolute magic!!!!

You are right....Floyd has lost so much speed at 147.....it does not show because he is still quicker than most and his timing is always down....
