    Beating Pacquiao and Legacy

Manny Pacquiao is too small to be a welterweight. He shouldn't be a welterweight. The fact that he has decisively beaten two welterweights (despite having many people believe that he couldn't) is a testament to his greatness. If Floyd or Mosley beat Pacquiao, it won't prove anything and certainly will not further their legacies because they are supposed to beat him. In fact, they don't have an excuse for not beating him. I mean, for Cristsakes, they each have 5 inch reach advantages over Pacquiao. They would have to be total bums not to be able to knock him out in 6 rounds.

Here's hoping the winner of the Pacquiao Elimination fight between Floyd and Shane will be deserving of a fight with Manny based on their performance inside the ring.

Pernell Whitaker was 5'5 1/2 and dude went up to 154. Neither did he hit as hard as Pacquiao.

Pernell's losses at the higher weights aren't counted and the victors get no credit.

He may have not been in his prime but I give Oscar credit. Also, Pernell Whitaker was game against Tito.

Which is what he wouldn't be known for down in history anyway. I mean, he just had his first legitimate welterweight fight 3 months ago. Oscar didn't really count.

BUT I would still like to see him fight Shane and Floyd. Lose or not, it wouldn't really matter this far in his career.
