    Ugliest Boxing Style?

Whose boxing style is just so incredibly ugly, it seems designed to make fights horrible? Here are my candidates:

    1. Derrick Gainer: The man can crack, why doesn't he? Because he is a coward.
    2. Cory Spinks: When you hit like a woman, you better run like one.
    3. John Ruiz: I believe it was Jones who said "Here he goes back to his old style of throwing 11,12, 17 punches a round".
    4. Tony Thompson: Someone needs to ban this guy from the sport. As if Vaughn Bean wasn't boring enough by himself, they throw this guy in there with him.
    5. Ian Gardner: Who the hell does this guy think he is? They gave the bastard decisions over Toygonbaev and Olajide for running. Arthur Abraham did to him what Barrera did to Hamed.

Hmm.. 4 Southpaws and one octopus.

This will be another "bash Ruiz"-thread (although for good reasons).
When described as a hugging-greco roman style-coalabear-pythonstrangling kind of a fighter, Ruiz fits that description. Although I believe Ruiz got more flame for it because it really won him his fights against Golota etc.

The ugliest boxing style that a fighter adapts to when he wants out of the ring. Running like Briggs against Foreman, hugging like Ruiz against whoever and so on.

Man, I'm just telling it like it is. Sometimes it just sounds like that.

I took alot of heat last November for saying that I thought Ruiz-Golata was entertaining. But if you saw the Johnson and Rahman bouts and were thrilled, someone needs to check your pulse.

I think Prince Naseem was pretty boring.

            Except in his interviews.

              Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He keeps his hands way out in front of his feet and and his body at distance throws 1 to 3 punches at a time and then uses his quick feet to move away. And he calls himself the the "pretty boy" the man with the ugliest most ***** style in boxing. John Ruiz is second.

He is the Ichiro Suzuki of boxing. Cheap, very cheap.

Well, the Golota fight was alot more entertaining than the Rahman fight (havent watch him against Johson), but thats becuase I like Golota as a boxer, his style is very nice... and yeah, he is white, no point in denying the bias that comes with the great white hype.
I cant say I liked Ruiz hugging his way to a decision victory, but the fight was fairly close and hence not a robbery. I had Golota ahead by 2 points.
