The Fight's On! Floyd Mayweather Has Signed to Face Shane Mosley

Floyd Mayweather has signed his bout agreement to fight Shane Mosley, who already had inked his name on the dotted line on Friday, Mosley's attorney, Judd Burstein, told FanHouse.

Burstein said that he learned of the development concerning Mayweather (pictured right) from Mosley's promoter, Golden Boy Promotions' CEO Richard Shaefer, which should set in motion the promotional and marketing of their bout to take place on May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Richard Schaefer just called me and told me that [Mayweather's adviser] Al Haymon called him, and it's being faxed," said Burstein, with whom Mosley signed his part of the deal on Friday in Las Vegas.

"I'm ecstatic. Shane and I have been together for seven years, and I love him as a client, and he's going to show the world how great that he is," said Burstein. "A lot of credit goes to Richard Schaefer. We work together beautifully. And Al Haymon has proven that my assessment of him as a real, straight shooter and a good guy are correct. He came through."

man in 10 yrs he fought boxers older than him...like 7 yrs over.only one he fought of his same age was Zab.by the way i dont think Mosley does mind of his age.look what he did to Marga and Collazzo and he came out from a controversial dicision against Cotto.i mean in this care the age does not count...but damnit pbf has always fought ppl older/shot/done than him.

This is like saying lets make mosley vs margaritos 18973897 times to see who has the better chin.No sense.They fought once and who got blasted? It only takes one time to make a statement.

No its not. Obviously shane is the only guy to ko margarito but that doesnt have anything to do with his chin. Point is he didnt even need his chin to beat margarito. If you wanted to prove shane had a great chin and he does by the way you could easily pick a fight he actually got hit in. It would make more sense if you said the cotto fight where shane got hit and never went down or you could have said he proved it against forrest to come back from being hurt and still finish the fight no problem.

yes yes yes finally. I'm a Shane fan but if Mayweather gets the win at least we should hopefully get to see May Vs PAC later on in the year.
