DeMarco-Valero a NEW AGE Sanchez-Gomez??

I'm not comparing DeMarco to Sanchez nor Valero to Gomez.

With that said..I'm comparing the circumstances..DeMarco is legit..he could take a shot and dish punishment himself..he's well rounded and brings skills to his game..He only carries one loss which came early in his career similar to Chava Sanchez..but that's not a even a factor to DeMarco's career anymore..

Now Valero..a MONSTER PUNCHER who's KO % is 100% similar to Gomez' KO percentage when he stepped up to fight Sanchez..will fight a more skilled and rangier puncher..who I'm assuming is being overlooked a bit..it's only natural I'd assume having that kind of KO percentage..he probably feels invincible right about now..but no doubt he carries speed and power..

I think this is a GREAT underrated fight we got on our hands..I got DeMarco exposing Valero's chin..I don't think he fears getting hit..and Valero's defense is pretty open..he keeps his hands a lil low..and his chin up..so if DeMarco can keep his distance with that very good right hand jab and tag him with those body shots and some straight lefts..I say he stops Valero...BUT!...obviously if Valero touches him clean on the chin..there's no doubt he could put DeMarco down and out!...

I stand on Antonio DeMarco by 8th round TKO ala' Sanchez-Gomez!...lol

I like where you are going with this compa! can't compare them but the scenario you presented is somewhat similar, I like it. I can't believe people are not hyped about this match up, for the first time the internet legend Valero is gonna fight a real challange, same thing can be said for DeMarco although he's never been hyped like Valero has. This is a make or break fight for both men and it's gonna be a brutal fight, I wouldn't be surprised if this fight becomes one of this years FOTY candidate.

One thing I have to disagree with you is that if Valero touches DeMarco he's going to automatically going to put him down, if there's a suspect chin in both men I would say Valero has the edge. For the best part of his career Valero was putting men to sleep in the first round, barely has he ever gone past the middle rounds and was KD by Mosquera who doesn't necessarily have rockets on his punches. DeMarco can punch and can land accurately, so we will see who makes the first impression with their power. Good stuff though compa, I'm making some good ol' burritos and pounding some Modelo's watching this event.

But one thing..I never said if Valero hits DeMarco clean he'll put him away automatically..what I'm saying is..He can!..I mean..I'm one to believe that Valero is a little overrated..and with good reason..I mean look at that record..it speaks for itself..but the power is evidently there..but DeMarco has been tagged and walked through some powerful shots before..so I think he can stand to Valero's and break him down..

It's all good bro..I know DeMarco is taking this fight..this will be his break out fight..he's got too good a chin and has the height, reach and jab to hold his distance and not make it such an inside fight where it can get dangerous with Valero..

Coments like this just boggle my mind...Valero hasn't been hit in the past because he would just overwhelm his opponents in the first round. Pitalua was Edwin's chin-check test but unfortunately Pitalua never got in a rhythm and looked afraid of Valero after getting touched up. DeMarco is a whole different animal, he has slugged and has been hit by punchers and has absorbed those punches well, of course Valero is a high caliber puncher but I feel DeMarco is mentally is physically prepared for what Valero brings.
