I think Ricky should retire, not because of the Pacquiao KO, just because I think he can't compete with the elite bunch anymore. I think Ricky got benefited from excellent match making but when he stepped it up to the A class he got KO both times, I do not think he will benefit from this at this point in his career. I mean both division where he has faught are stacked with to much talent for him.

Maybe ARUM should adopt Hatton as Father and Frank Warren should adopt him as his mother then they can make him retire..........

maybe he's just concerned with hatton's health. arum give the same advise to erik morales even if morales was with him.

but hatton can still box. he has all what it takes to beat marquez.

          go ricky!!!!!!!

            Hattons still young

only lost two fights and they were against p4p no.1 boxers at that time

yes, he's not at that level but he's still a top fighter

hatton should retire in my opinion. when he fights the best he gets ktfo. i personally believe he was over hyped during his career. his resume is weak in my opinion. and collazo was absolutely a gift decision. though i am pretty confident arum doesn't care about his health, he is just being a douche bag. if he had a son he would milk every penny out of him. i like the fight's the guy has put on but he is a straight up asss hole.

I think Arum should be a father to Cotto more than Hatton
because honestly, Cotto has taken far worse beatings and
                punishment than Ricky Hatton has.

So why hasnt he told Cotto to retire? Oh thats right because hes with Top Rank and he can make money off of him. Arum is the WORST promoter since Don king.

ya man i agree completely Arum is in no place to tell someone to retire if he wont even tell his own fighter to retire you and the gentlemen right above me took the words right out of my mouth, and if hatton was lookin to fight one of his fighters then he would be all about it and trying to squeeze as much money as he can out of the sittuation

Arum wasnt soooo quick to tell Morales to retire when he was feeding him to Pacquiao and Morales had more weigh problems than Hatton.
Cotto is one of Arum cash cows. No matter what happens he will get the most money he can out of him. But I think Cotto unlilke Hatton has skills so even if he is not the same he can still beat some champions based on his skills alone. Hatton on the other hand doesn't have that luxury.
