I honestly belive that if they offer him a 50/50 contract, with no silly clauses, then the fight will happen.

however I don't think they will, they will continue to make silly demands, when for the purposes of making $$$ 50/50 is fair.

Goin to Valuev was checkmate for Haye. He's now world champion and hugely popular in europe. He's also the fighter boxing fans want to see. 50/50 is what he deserves, but if it takes 60/40 to bring them out, I honestly think he can get their belts. Worth way more than the 10%!

The Heavyweight division needs this fight to happen. After the Johnson fight especially, no one wants to pay to see the K brothers anymore. I'm a fan and will still watch, and i'm sure plenty of Americans will want to see them lose. Ruiz better play his part and hit the canvas in dramatic fashion, to set up the hype.

Vitali is looking to fight Valuev next.

        Can you imagine

        Vitali vs Johnson
        then
        Vitali vs Valuev

no-one will want to see Vitali fight after those two, so Haye is his only option.

I wouldn't blame the K brothers for trying to get more than 50/50.

They are proven heavy champs with a massive fan base in Germany and the rest of europe.

I figure they get big paydays pretty much anywhere they go.

The Klits are never gonna give Haye 50/50.

60/40 is the very best Haye should hope for. His belt is a sham and really belongs to Wlad anyway.

Haye's popularity isn't even 25% that of The Klitschko's. Accordingly they probably make 5-10 times what Haye would fighting the exact same caliber of opposition.

Fighting Haye would only result in either bro making a larger than normal payday, but probably not a career high one. For Haye even 40% would be far greater than anything he has ever won and would be far more than he would net taking home 65% against Audley Harrison.

Reportedly Haye got 5 million pounds for fighting Valuev in a shed in germany, the Klitschkos offerd him less than 1 million.

They need to make better offers imo, if Valuev can afford 5 then the bros can afford more than 1, they are rich after all.

I'm sure we'll see him fighting 1 of the bothers this year, as long as he has the belt. 60/40 split is fair enough, I hope that he will get this contract and both sides sign it. I want to see some good **** by HWs. Tua, Povetkin, Haye, Klitschkos, Boytsov, Chambers etc. Bring it on.. fight for legacy not for $$$

you talk about guys cherry picking and avoiding the top fighters in their division but then your a fan of that joke-double standards at their best
