Mike Tyson's Return to Glory at Cruiserweight

Am I crazy or do you guys think it would be a good idea for Mike to finish out his career in the cruiserweight division?

I think that he could make the weight if he worked out hard (which would help him in more ways than one). And I think if he only had to get down to 200 pounds for the weigh in, he could probably come into fights at around 215. This is a good weight for Mike.

I would love to see him fight Mormek and then Unify the division titles.

He could also have mega-fights with a returning Jirov or Toney, even Chris Bryd would come down to fight Tyson. And his chances at beating them are improved by fighting at cruiser because with less weight he can probably fight more rounds hard instead of just the first couple.

I could see 5 awsome fights for Tyson at cruiser weight and a return to fame and Glory.

Hell maybe even Roy Jones or Antonio Tarver would come up for a piece. Even if Tyson lost a couple of these fights he could still be competitive in all of them and get the money he needs to pay off his debts.

If.....His comeback went well and he beat up everybody at cruiser he could still come up for one last heavyweight title fight and then retire win or lose.

I think he weighed in at a pathetic 233, his optimal weight is 216. Every bout Tyson has ever been in, and weighed in at over 220 he looses.

Its 200 now. That's why if they gave him a few days between the weigh in and the fight he could still come in at 215.

Also in the 80's Tyson often came into fights at 199 or 201 anyway, so if he was in really good shape that is his natural weight.

No he didn't he was always in the range between 215 and 219. 214 might have been the lowest he ever came in at, but it might be 215, his optimal fighting weight is 216. You would not think a small number pounds like that would make a big difference for a heavy but for Tyson it does.
