Hate Floyd all you want but he was chasing a Mosley fight forever.

he wanted him at 135. Then Mosley declined and jumped up two weight divisons.

So Floyd was chasing Oscar and Shane..which is why Floyd went up to 147 in the first place. Shane had a chance to fight Floyd November 2006 He declined.

He never wanted to fight Floyd until Floyd became a draw.

I dont get why people are acting crazy.

Exactly.....i have no idea why they refuse to acknowledge it....it's well documented...hell even Schafer said Mosley could have fought him in 06 a couple weeks back.

I'm dissapointed that this fight hasn't been confirmed yet. For promotional reasons Floyd should sign ASAP so they could do a press tour starting with the Super Bowl considering this is a all American fight and the Super Bowl is the biggest event in the US.

I still think it will happen it's just a matter of being patient. I would also like to plan to go to the fight. So hurry up so fight fans can plan accordingly.

if floyd doesnt sign this week before the superbowl then he wont sign at all..millions of viewers watch the superbowl and what better time to promote this fight than during the halftime show.. if he lets that pass then he is surely gonna be ducking mosley

I defended Floyd in the whole blood testing controversy with Pacquaio, but this is ridiculous. If he doesn't sign the contract, I lose all respect for the guy.

You're looking at it from the angle you want to look at it from.

I've said this many times, Mosley was already getting a shot at Oscar at WW by the time Mayweather was even becoming a legit name around the sport. Yea, he was doin his thing at Featherweight, but Floyd wasn't at the point of popularity or being recognized thoroughly as a main attraction until years after and by then Mosley had fought Oscar, Forrest, Winky, etc. Floyd called everyone out from Casamayor to Mosley to Oscar and the list goes on. It wasn't until 2005-2006 when the fight was being made serious, but then you also have to throw Oscar in the mix because Floyd also wanted that fight too and it brought him more money. Call it being at the right place at the right time.

But I don't think neither Mosley or Floyd were scared or ducking each other more than the time not being right...but it is now.

Don't let it frustrate you. Floyd is good enough to be mentioned with these guys but unless he fight and beat the top welterweights he won't be. He might think it in his head but nobody else will.

Now, for the drug testing. If it was your son in there, would you let him fight if there was a possibility that his opponent had an advantage? What other fighter do you know of that has moved up even two weight divisions and dominate top level guys . Pac has moved from jr. flyweight to welterweight, that's 10 weight classes, and is beating these almost top level guys. Something smells fishy to me, especially since he refused to the drug testing and Mosley immediately agreed to it. Obviously, he had nothing to hide.

Man your talking like he just move from flyweight to WW from yesterday to the following day. pac started fighting at 106 and move up all the way to 147 and the same thing with floyd he started fighting at 106 then move all the way up to 154 and they both dominated there opponents, well not both i would say pac does and money just cruise around to easy win fights and barely dominated his opponents. plus money is a proven user of xylocaine and pac were accused of using ped without evidence. The xylocaine make him not to feel the pain as well as the puches he gets. no wonder he doesn't get knock out when he get hit with big puches. So, now let me ask you this who has the upper advantage when they do fight in the ring. A true xylocaine user that comes in at fight night or an accused ped user without poof. If you say pac then you must be smokin some good shrooms.
