Is Winky Wright irrelevant in the mw division?

I know he lost to Paul Williams. But after that long layoff Williams flatout threw so many punches Winky had a hard time adjusting.


Do you think he is irrelevant in the mw division or do you think he still has potential at his age to be a contender again?

I dont see him becoming very relevant again, to be honest. Winky is one of those fighters that doesnt stay in shape or active in between fights. At his age, all the inactivity is going to cost him. He has lost the only two fights he has had in the last three years. Not saying its impossible, but even if he does become relevant again its probably only gonna last for one fight.
Winky is cool in my book, Im just keeping it real.

Thats a good idea if he plans on making anything out of what he has left in his career. Still, lots of hungry cats in that division. Not sure how much he has left at this point.

Mundine won't get down to 154,he couldn't for his last fight... however,I believe Winky gets a decision against Mundine.Mundine is a big wussy that is scared of the big challenges these days.After his ko loss to Sven "hands of stone" Ottke (note the sarcasm) and a butt whipping from Kessler,we will never see him in against anyone world class....

Winky should be more active. He's a handful for anybody, i definitely see him beating Pavlik, Sturm, and even a 160 pounds Abraham.

Winky needs to fight, there are plenty of boxers out there he can fight..saying noone wants to fight at this point doesn't make any sense..
