He's 19 years old. He turned pro at 15 with no amateur experience. I'd like to see him protected until he's 21, 22, or 23.

exactley, and id rather have a record of "bums" from mexico than any other country,as mexico produces more tough ,dudes in the ring and world champs than anywhere else.

whats up with the haters on here??mosley destroys margs THE best welter at the time=no credit.mayweather beats jmm easily, whom beat the crap out of pac twice=no credit.saul "el canelo",just starting out is 30-0 just a kid =no credit. but pac beats 3 or 4 olds ass shot ass , geriatric, guys that at ONE time were great and hes the cream of the crop.whatever, i dont see how beating a 10 years past his prime delahoya, or a hatton that was kod by floyd, and almost kod by laszcano, or a cotto that was DESTROYED by margarito then whooped by clottey in a gift decision, makes pac great let alone pnd for pnd anything. and then clottey oh god.

exactly. some people have ridiculous expectations and think every fight should be against a champion. and even then they will find a way to call any opponent a "bum"

They still need to protect him, The boy is only 19 and am sure he didnt have any amatuer background since he has 30 odd fights already.

With 30 wins he doesn't need protecting, but at 19 he can pick and choose his opponents. He isn't in a hurry, but he can fight lesser names now instead of unknowns.
