I was there ringside with my chick, the atmosphere was amazing, Houston is a boxing town for sure! It was fun just being there, even at the end of the night when it was time to go the fans were chanting DIAZ, DIAZ, DIAZ, and the JMM crowd chanted Marquez, Marquez, right back it was fun!

Indeed, I think Diaz left a piece of his soul in that ring that night, he didn't look good in his last fight. He's a warrior no doubt, dude fights his heart out.

yea, jmm/diaz was good, but imho i think yohhny perez/ joseph agbeko was better, they went swinging/giving it all they had for 12 rounds.

Yeah but the Diaz vs JMM was for all the marbles, to prove who was the best lightweight, the winner would walk out the unified champ.
And it was Brawler vs Counter Puncher, between 2 worldclass champions, what else coul you ask for?

so you thought diaz was in the same level as marquez? I knew marquez would win, since he is a counter puncher but i think i bet 5k on diaz, cuz i thought marquez age would catch up to him.

Diaz is just a featherfisted brawler IMO

IMHO I think diaz is through unless he loses some fat and goes down to 130, he could easily make 130 if he lost 8-10lbs of fat
