I hope Clottey brings his A game for this fight otherwise it will be a one sided beat down.

This sounds like a great idea.. Somehow, in the short term Arum definitely gets more money for not having Valero on that card. I can't help feel like it would pay dividends in the long run to stack a card once in a while. Just once in a while to keep us on our toes.

I can't **** with MMA it's beyond boring for me. And when I spend my money on a fight i dont spend it on people who are beyond boring. Manny Pacquiao is alright I wanted to see a good fight and that fight intrigued me til i saw the undercard. Mosley- Mayweather no matter what the undercard is i'll be buying it like i did with Cotto- Pacquiao its just not good enough to make me pay for the main event itself.

demarco vs valero by itself is worth more than the 3 or 4 crappy fights arum is putting on that show. It would do wonders for the valero if he wins if he was on there. I could see valero winning & calling out pacman & raising his profile. Arum does hold his rights so arum might be spending more money but you get that back if valero wins & gets his name & game seen.

You gotta spend money to make money. It could propel a valero vs juan diaz match.

Honestly, unless you're a huge fan of Pac I don't see why you would buy this PPV. I've seen latin fury cards with more competitive fights.

Gomez is an aweful fighter and Margarito is fighting a bum. I'm not interested in it even though he's been gone for so long I wouldn't pay for a cheater in the first place. And on top of that Luis Jose Castillo is pretty much on his way to retirement I dont know why he refuses to retire. John Duddy tops this undercard off to make this just as bad as the undercard for Cotto-Pacquiao. The thing that makes it a bit better is margarito but doesn't make a significant difference.

You would think that with the need to sell out 40k tickets and being in direct competition with another PPV a few weeks later that Top Rank would put something significant fpr the undercard...but noooooo!

Instead they waste talents like Donaire fighting B fighters on PPVs that nobody sees.
