the best fighters-turned-trainers are usually guys who had moderate success but failed vs. the elite level fighters, sooooooo

Paulie Ayala could be good, I always thought Reggie Johnson would be a great trainer, possibly Sharmba Mitchell

Roy Jones will be one for sure. Trinidad could be too and Hopkins.

        Jack, remember our bet, ok?

Ruiz going to be an awesome trainer when he really retires. He'll make someone else a champ someday.

Sugar Ray a ****ty trainer. Look at Contender.

Those guys are gifted athletes, it would be hard for any of them to train guys who don't have the physical gifts that they used to have....

it's kinda like how Michael Jordan could never be a good baskeball coach, how could the players ever be as good as he was?

Roy Jones and Tridad would suck as trainers. Granted Roy is a ggod commentator but you can't teach people how to have speed or power.

If Roy said Hey throw a combo like me "Start with a left hook and then when they throw back out you just lean straight back" his fighters would get knocked the **** out.

Same with Trinidad. Except instead of Speed it's power.

                bernard hopkins comes to mind

winky wright would be a good trainer because he could teach his defense

chris byrds father is a trainer and i guess its in his blood so he might be a good trainer as well.
