Corrales will win, if he stays on the outside he will KO Castillo late

the ref was in a very tuff spot I dont know if any other ref would of let fight continue after the second kd when he took his mouth piece out and looking to his corner for help.

Corrales will KO Castillo again. If Chico keeps him on the outside using his jab & keeps him on the end of his punches, the fight could end earlier. The difference in the fight was Chico's underrated hand-speed. Castillo has never been hit that hard & often in the same fight. Chico made the fight alot harder than it had to be by going on the inside but he beat him at his own game. Chico usually got the best of Castillo in the infight exchanges because of his hand-speed.

As much as i like Castillo i would say that Corales would win the rematch b/c he would change his style and box him and stay on the outside where Castillo would have a prob. I think Corales learned that it's dangerous to go toe to toe with Castillo, i think he'll be smarter next time b/c next time he might not get up. Either way if and when it happens i can't wait.

Why are you guys talking about ref changing? What did the ref do wrong?...Nothing. Yes, there were 2 knockdowns but, Corrales still got up. Castillo had his eyes rolling into the back of his head and the only thing that kept him up was his pride and the ropes because he wasn't all there after getting caught with that left hook. Don't take away what both fighters did in that ring that night by making it a "ref" conspiracy issue.

IMO, Any fighter would say what Castillo said after the fight. He was clearly winning after the knock downs and was later stopped in that fashion. What else is he supposed to say? No...I don't want to fight him...he will kick my ass again. Of course not.

I see castillo winning this time around I think he learned a great lesson but like Kostya did about going in too soon and being careless. It's a shame about the ticketsales but once words gets around about how great a fight it was I think a second fight would be a sellout.

Corrales fought the worst possible fight that he could in terms of strategy, he played into all of Castillo's strengths and still won by KO. I think in the second fight, now that he has already proved his stature as a 'warrior', Diego would box on the outside more- where his speed makes a big difference and he has a much easier time with Castillo. Diego doesn't get the KO this time but he is able to secure a pretty solid UD.

if a rematch would happen, i agree with you...

corrales has castillo's numbers, ironically by castillo's own game. in the fight, if you had noticed it, corrales would open the round with jabs and a straight temporarily shocking castillo, then he would go inside, late in the round he goes out again.

very risky tactics.... but effective.... as proven by the win
