Is Lara Ready For Angulo or Spinks

On the BT interview he sounded like he is willing to fight those guys right now and he said he would even go to St. Louis to fight Spinks. Does he need a few more fights and how do you think he would do against them?

    Hell no.

Spinks Decisions him and Angulo would KO him right now. Lara is my boy but I wasn't impressed with him Friday.

Did you see what I saw about how when he throws his jab he takes his left hand away from his face exposing it to huge shots. I love the dude hes in my avy but I honestly think if he fights a big puncher with a good right hes going to go down. I did a Live round by round on my show and I said that **** then BOOM it happened Grady rocked his ass and had Lara on ***** street and then he was saved by the bell. Now obviously he can work on that this year.

I like his hand speed and accuracy too. But when Brewer got close Lara just covered up and let Grady punch him. He doesnt know how to fight on the inside I think those 2 things will have to be stuff he improves on if he wants to make noise in a division with Dzindiruk, Williams, Martinez, Cintron, Kirkland, Angulo, Julio, Spinks and Omar henry IMO.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. He was hurt and a little wobbly going back to his corner, but I don't he wasn't really close to going down and wasn't out on his feet. He threw a punch as the bell rang too.

Nah, I mean he's probably a future star, but Spinks would outbox him with ease. Angulo could be a better option but I don't think he's ready for him. I think they're rushing him too much, I mean, he should be busier but against lesser opponents until he gets there.

I think the bell saved him but he dominated Brewer. There are just things that I seen that better fighters would exploit.

Spinks had a hard fight with a really raw Latimore and appears that age has effected his legs. Also, reports are that Spinks has ballooned up to 200 pounds in between this fight and his last. So I don't necessarily know that he'd do it with ease.

                  If that's your opinion, fine.

I also picked up on a few things as well. I like Lara, but I think he should fight a few more fringe contenders, gatekeepers, etc. He's not a really advanced age like Rigondeaux and Gamboa, so I think they should take him time.

                    Yeah I agree with that.

Who does he fight like to you? I think he looks like a cross between Dawson and Judah.
