Does anyone think Roy Jones Jr will beat Hopkins?

Like seriously...In my town everyone's making huge debates on which round it'll be over...I'm going to give Jones a HUGE benefit of the doubt and say Hopkins by decision, although I can see Jones trying to potshot and getting countered by a deadly shot in any round that'll daze him or send him to the canvas, only to be stopped seconds later or just not get up.

You can tell by the lack of response that this fight is a mismatch and many are wondering why Hopkins would take it after Jones Jr. was stopped in the first round.

I'm hoping RJ has that one last great performance in him but the guy is shot to hell. If he is even competitive it will be because Hopkins got old and shot as well.

the common thesis is that hopkins is not shot and will be able to destroy jones jr with the shots he lands especially after being so impressive against pavlik and having richardson in is corner is a huge bonus!!!

but i think the style of this fight suits jones jr, jones still possesses fast hands and a decent workrate!!! and still has is legs!!! i can defo see him outlanding hopkins and maybe winning a very close decision

i think hopkins will most likely win, but at the odds i think jones could be a value bet because hopkins is not an aggressive fighter or a type to throw many punches i can see jones outscoring him in a close conversational fight

Yo my dude you have to understand that at this point Roy don't need to prove nothing else right? You understand you need to know that styles make fights and Hopkins although he is cagy and fights well on the inside Roy still has the style to beat him. He needs tp pick up his work rate. Judging from Hopkins last fight he still has the legs to move around the ring and give angles but to me you cannot look at the Green fight and use that as an example because in the Lacy fight Jones looked awesome. Again styles make fights my friend. You need to understand that for sure. One thing about boxing is you build habits and even though your abilities fade your habits the bod ones anyway are always there. jones carries his left very low and uses that up jab he don't have the reflexes to move out the way and slip like he used too. This fight is interesting because Hopkins although not known for his KO power does counter punch very well with that right hand. I can see it being a UD for Jones or a KO for Hopkins. I do not see Hopkins winning this fight on points unless Jones keeps his hands in his pockets all night because he is scared to throw like he did against Calzaghe.
