Auction of Show Memorabilia to Benefit EGPAF
This season’s hit new show, The Contender, follows 16 boxers in their pursuit to become champion boxer, giving viewers a first hand look into the real life hopes and triumphs in their quest for the American dream. The final two boxers will fight live at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas for the grand prize—$1 million dollars and a chance to change their lives and the lives of the people they love. Contender fans, here’s your chance to step into the ring and join in the fight to change the lives of children around the world. Immediately following the live finale fight on May 24th, 2005, log onto www.contender-auctions.com to bid on props and memorabilia from the hit NBC-TV show! The eBay charity auction, which will run May 24th-June 6th, will feature exclusive items including boxing gloves signed by the all 16 contenstants, the final four, Sly, Sugar Ray Jackie and Tommy, George Foreman, and Angelo Dundee. Other auction items include heavy bags, photos, and banners. All proceeds benefit the Foundation to help create a healthier future for children worldwide.
