How will Floyd react when he get tagged?

In my mind its not a question of IF Floyd will get hit by Shane its a matter of WHEN. So my question is, how will Floyd react when he really gets tagged by Shane? can he recover or will he go into a shell, or does he even have the chin to take it?

Also do you guy agree or disagree that this version of Shane is alot better than the version of Oscar that Floyd won a split decision against?

Why do people think Floyd has no chin, is not tough, or is mentally weak? He has proven the exact opposite in the ring.

My thoughts exactly. Floyd will be fine, like he always has been.

He's probably better than Oscar but you have to remember that back then Floyd was basically a 140 pounder fighting at WW and he fought Oscar at 154 while giving up nearly 20 pounds in the ring, so that cancles out to me how much better Shane is than Oscar.

I also dont get your very 1st sentence. You pose a question that way when you are talkin about someone with a crappy defense. Im not saying he wont be hit but I dont think you posed it the right way. With that being said, he wont get hit clean that much. Floyd has mastered that D against righties and I dont think there is a righty in history that can get a solid amount of clean shots on Floyd. Youre lucky if you get 10 in a 12 round fight. If he does get hit clean though, Floyd has shown he can take a punch. He's been in with some very solid punchers and has had 40 fights. He'll be fine.

The only question is will Shane land one fluke punch. JMM didnt really hit Floyd all night but he did catch Floyd with a great over hand right in the 2nd after he fainted. If Shane landed that then Floyd could be in trouble. Shane is also one of the best righties in the game at throwing an over hand straight right down the middle with brutal force & power. Its almost like being hit by a straight left from a Southpaw because most righties cant connect with that shot so if Shane does then it could be trouble but I dont think he will land either of those shots but maybe once or twice the whole fight so unless he puts Floyd to sleep with it then Floyd will be fine. He spars with big punchers and bigger guys than Shane

Floyd has a very good chin. Only seen him semi-buzzed once in 40 fights. He's been hit, just not recently. Oscar cracked him with a really good shot that did nothing. Zab tagged Mayweather due to his speed, but Zab gets to EVERYBODY. He flat out lit Cotto up early.

Id like to point out, before my short rant, that I am not a Mayweather mafioso. Just a huge fan of the sport of boxing.
The reason Floyd Mayweather is a great fighter and has been so successful, for so long, in so many divisions and against so many fighters isnt just because of his skills. Obviously the guy is one of the all time great defensive fighters, but it takes a lot more than being a gifted athlete with good training to become a great fighter. Anybody in the know will tell you that Floyd trains like a MANIAC, and that his sparring sessions are amongst the most brutal in the sport. Floyd generally looks for tanks and killers as partners and lets them fight him to the fullest of their potential. Yeah he goes by the name Pretty Boy, and is a bit of a deva in negotiations, but Floyd Mayweather is one of the toughest SOBs in the entire sport, talent aside.
