    Cotto-Foreman is a disgrace!

We all know why Cotto is fighting Foreman. Arum knows Cotto can't pull the trigger anymore therefore he is sacrificing him to Foreman. He want to make Foreman a star. Not Foreman's boxing skills but Foreman's height and reach advantage will give him the win.

You all know why Arum loves Foreman, right? I can't say it openly but we all know why. Discuss.

I disagree man. I think it's the logical next step for Cotto. Foreman is a weak titlist but he's good enough to serve as a measuring stick so we can gauge where Cotto is now.

I think Cotto should be clearly favoured to win that fight, and I believe he will decision Foreman comfortably, outclassing him in the process.

What are Cotto's alternatives? Dangerous scores to settle with Margarito and Mosley, each of which could leave him even more damaged, or just basically admitting he's done and giving up fighting at the top level?

I agree with the why of the fight in this post. I think Foreman however, may win a decision.

          Wanna bet on it? 500k?

I just haven't been impressed with Foreman in the slightest apart from that one win against Santos, where he still looked super green and open to me. Although admittedly I've only seen two of his other fights.

I don't think a few lbs can save him from being out-boxed and out-fought by Cotto.

Yeah, sure when it's close to fight time I will.

This fight is pretty far from a disgrace. Not like he's putting him in there with a young Mike Tyson or anything.

I think Arum genuinely believes that Foreman will be easy pickings for Cotto. He's wrong, and so are you.

Cool, I'll hold you to that (very confident in Miguel )

Also, on topic: OP, that's what's supposed to happen in boxing anyway. The young usher out the old and taking on the flagholders of the previous generation is an integral part of a prospect's development. (And yes I realise they are both the same age but I'm talking in boxing years).
