Mosley knows better, he's just selling the fight. As soon as he became available, they began negotiations and in a week or two, voila. If anything, it seems he was clearly the #2 option after Pacquiao.

Leonard Ellerbe said before the Mayweather Pacquiao fight went into negotiations, that Mosley would be the second choice. Like Spacey said, anybody trying to discredit this fight is a fan of one fighter and not boxing.

funny how Floyd called Shane out TWICE by name and both times Shane out of his own mouth said NO, it's funny how Floyd is the one to be made out to not want this fight. this is part of the reason I didn't even want Shane to get the fight, fans like the ones we have in Boxing today kills it because they don't deserve these fights, the excuses are already starting, as always 75% of the board is like YES FINALLY and the other 25% are making excuses, sooner or later it will be 60% saying YES then 40% hating, then like 20% YES then 80% hating until AFTER the fight where 3% of us will give Floyd his respect for a great scrap while the other 97% still hate like they was never in agreement with the fight.. seriously this **** is sickening

For **** sake, are you real Boxing fans? Or just fans of one fighter? Manny vs Floyd folded for there reasons and both were to blame, now Floyd will be fighting Mosley which is the second biggest fight out there your still moaning and complaining and trying to discredit Floyd.

Why can't you just be happy that a big fight is most likely going to happen, as Boxing fans we should be happy about that cause its good for the sport, but instead your complaining and trying to discredit Floyd... of course Mosley is going to say that, him and Floyd haven't gotten on recently and Shane has talked **** about him constantly, he is also gonna fight him so he isn't going to look at Floyd like hes some saint.

Get over your dislike for the guy and be happy that a good fight has a great possbility of getting made, like REAL Boxing fans should.

I'm just happy that this fight is going to happen. Yeah a lot of people believe that Sugar is way passed his prime and so forth. And I just can't help to think if this fight happened earlier. What would have happened if Mosley won back then, then had admitted to Steroid Abuse. Would have it been a scandal? I believe that Mayweather is going to win the fight, but I believe Sugar is going to put on a hell of a show. And of course there is going to be the people that say you are ducking people, but the truth is, that Mayweather has beaten such good to great opposition that he can pick and choose, because he is one of the biggest catches right now in boxing.

Or who knows... Maybe Mayweather and Pacman will fight like what's happening with Hopkins vs. RJJ. They both will be in their sixties, and they both will fight in diapers.
