Dela Hoya has better record than Mosley. Well it could be a draw between Oscar and Shane.

It's just kind of difficult to gauge where Shane's at. We all know he wants Mayweather and he's gonna train like a mofo to get in the best possible condition. But he's been out of the ring for 16 months, not good for a guy in his late thirties who's been around the sport for his entire life, almost 20 years as a pro. Sure, the Margarito win was phenomenal, one of his career highlights, but has some rust set in, has father time caught up with him? I would even have liked him to fight a lesser opponent when Berto stayed out, just so he could get some rounds in.

No doubt, even at near 40, Shane Mosley is the best fighter Floyd has ever fought.

Yeah I think we're gonna have to rely heavily on his actual performance to decide the answer to the OP's question. I have the feeling he's a bit too far gone to be competetive with Mayweather all the way through the fight but I'll readily rescind that if he comes in and puts on a great performance. I will say that an on-form, peaking Mosley would be the best fighter Floyd has faced.
