hbo is just making up with 24/7 for the fight that wll be boring. remember pac-dela hoya, they did 24/7 to sell the fight most especially when they heard the first impressions from people that the fight is one sided for the bigger heftier dela hoya and such was a mismatch. then pac vs hatton came they have to spend for 24/7 again because like the dela hoya fight they were saying that hatton is bigger and undefeated in that weight class. then vs. cotto, a true welterweight they said they have to invest in the promotions of the fight, they spent money to sell that fight with 24/7. now aint that clear enough? HBO is doing 24/7 to sell fights that they think needs selling, needs promoting so they can recover their investments. the same reason why theyre doing it in all floyds fight so people will come and see or buy the ppv. if theyre not doing 24/7 with pacquiao v clottey what does that tells you? no, theyre not giving up on the fight in fact they dont need to sell it because its already sold, their investments are already covered and guaranteed. the cowboys bought the fight stock and barrel. they dont need 24/7. cowboys and football fans will buy the ppvs, hbo and top rank is already licking their chops even as early as when the contract was signed for the fight to take place at the cowboy stadium. all pacman and clottey do is train and come march 13 go at each others neck. they dont have to work their azz up in front of the camera and act.
