Its more than obvious that HBO figured they wouldn't need a 24/7 for the Pac/Clottey fight because the fight will sell itself. The fact that its at Cowybows stadium sells the fight alone. You seriously think HBO wouldn't invest marketing money in a fight if they felt it needed to be promoted?

Clottey might be a top 5 ww fighter but his not a big name compare to Mosley. So the Mosley-Mayweather is expected to have a 24/7 show. Mosley might not attract as much PPV as Mayweather but he is a big name in boxing. When talking of current American fighters, the big names are Mayweather, Mosley, BHOP, and Pavlik.

As far as PPV goes, the Mayweather-Mosley fight will outsell the Pac-Clottey fight. Reasons are 2 superstars against 1 superstar.

But if it was M. Hatton, Malinangi, or Campbell fighting Mayweather, there will be no 24/7and PPV sales will be less than expected.
