"The Pretender" - One Trick Pony

Buddy......I just found a loaf of bread in a cabinet that I think I bought around Super Bowl Sunday.
*****, that bread isn't half as stale as your John Ruiz, non-comedy material.

Who told you were funny ? Sarcasm can be funny, brilliant even, in very, very small doses.

Get a new routine, Shecky....you are an absolute bore.....& not nearly as clever as you believe.

Pretender tried conciously to be funny and a lot of times he was. Simply becuase of how he portrayed John Ruiz as a great fighter. It's like me saying Stephen Hawkin would be a great sprinter if he could get out of his wheelchair. People would laugh at me. And that's what his intention was. But some people got mad and he egged them on.

I knew he was mostly sarcastic. Even when i called him on it, he never said he wasn't trying to be. He'd reply that John Ruiz hit harder than King Kong on steroids and PCP. He came here to stir up the hornet's nest. He'll be back when John Ruiz has a confirmed fight.

I just thought his **** became redundant.
It was amusing at first, but he pummelled that poor, dead horse.

Taht is true. I got a bit hostile after a month of his bantering. Sorry, Pred, if you read this. Anyway, history will not view John Ruiz too kindly as even the next generation of boxing fans will fall asleep watching old tapes of John Ruiz. They will cheer for David Tua, RJJ and James Toney as they pummel John Ruiz, though. His losses are the most exciting fights of Ruiz's career. Pathetic.
