Just watched Campillo/Shumenov

First off it was a great fight with very contrasting styles and I was in total disagreement with the decision.

I had it 9-3 for Campillo, he showed very good defensive boxing skill and counter punching ability throughout the fight and though Shumenov came on strong early in rounds I can't score too many for him if he gases after the 1st minute of each and starts walking into counter punches for the other 2.

Shumenov though showed alot of heart and will, we should also consider that last night was his tenth pro fight and he is already fighting in the world title picture.

Again I just totally disagree with the decision and being very generous I don't see how Shumenov could have won more than 5 rounds, and the 9th where he go battered by Campillo could have easily been a 10-8.

Any thoughts on this fight?

I thought the decision was bad too, I thought their first match was even closer than this one.

It was an outright robbery, there was no way to justify a Shumenov win. Shame a good fight was marred by bad judging.

It was a very entertaining fight just a horrible ending to a good night of action. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen in my life.
