Mosley called out floyd during floyds interview in the ring after floyd beat jmm.
Berto dropped out so Mosley was looking for an opponent, so was floyd.
If floyd took on another opponent, it would look like floyd was ducking shane.
Floyd needed to pick a good opponent to give pac/clottey competition.

Floyd didnt want to fight shane in september, when brian kenny asked floyd what about shane mosley for an opponent, and floyd said "shane mosley w/ 5 loses. Shane isnt even a draw"

i do give some props for floyd agreeing to fight shane, but alot of floyd fans are giving way too much props, this fight should of happen a while ago.
agreed, but *** it, it looks like it will happen and floyd gets props for taking the fight...even tho his back was to the wall.

I agree, I do remember that Pac-Floyd was said to be a 99% done deal, then it suddenly unhappened.

So I won`t believe yet that Floyd-Mosley will push through at such date until after the official weigh-in.

This could still be just a ploy for the Floyd-Team to save face temporarily, and may even re-challenge Pacquiao if he goes through Clottey.

Okay, so your saying Mosley is a **** fighter, saying that Floyd is fighting a washed up guy and pretty much implying that there is no point. Yet you have had bets with people saying the fight wont happen, and we pretty much both know you've done it to imply that Floyd wont fight him cause hes scared. So which one is it, if he doesn't fight him hes scared, but if he does Mosley is washed up anyways? Give credit were credit is due, this is pretty much the second best fight that could come off.

Not a chance...that long layoff would hurt Floyd...

Floyd has a fan base outside of the hardcore boxing fans. We might buy 350,000 ppv but the mainstream new fans he got will buy 700,000. Add that up and you got over a million buys everytime he fights. WWE,Dancing with the stars,24/7, at&t commercial has made him a cross over star.

He could waited for the Pac-Clottey winner.

Pac was scared to fight Shane remember.

Floyd had a choice. He just decided to one up Pacquiao in the competition department. When Pacquiao decided to fight a dangerous welterweight in Clottey, Floyd had a choice to fight Paulie Malignaggi or Nate Campbell and get ripped in numerous boxing websites OR fight Shane when the Mosley/Berto fell apart due to natural causes and gain some needed credibility. So full props to Floyd. Only *******s seriously think that Mosley is out of it and old.

Pac himself wasn't scared to fight Shane, he really didn't give a **** who he fought. Roach and Arum didn't want Pac to fight Shane. Arum wanted Pac to fight Cotto so he could keep 98% of the money in house.

Floyd is fighting the P4P Number 3 and the Number 1 WW.

                      Does that register to you.
