Is not about being the type... is about being fair if you going to test one then test all...

I want this random testing to be mandatory for every single commission, promotional company, every country, every sanctioning belt... They have to be more strict with this testing...

Sauerland himself said that he is until now pretty much the only one who does it... he said that it SEEMS that the Americans doesn't have big interest in it...

That was something that I wondered also about... if the SuperSix guys gets tested... if you have so many promoters involved you probably have to give a little here or there but usually it should be that way too with the SuperSix guys...

Probably I try to send Sauerland a mail or something asking him that... asking doesn't cost anything *loooooooooooooooool*

Sauerland practically has it's own boxing commission (the Austrian Boxing Federation - FVA), that's why it's easy to work out and introduce a whole anti-doping policy...and he pays a lot of money for it.

The US has one big problem - local boxing commissions which means a conflict of interests...if there would be 1 big governing body to oversee and control all minor boxing commissions, introducing a policy like Sauerland has would be easy and promotions would have to play by those rules...BUT this will never happen as every of the 40+ like regional commissions do it's own thing and is ruled by lobbyists (the promotions and their "friends")...the US has always done it's own thing and this won't change in that case...

Do you know if they are doing it in the super 6? Because I think it would be interesting in case AA fight Ward... Due to Ward connection with Victor Conte..

It's up to the sanctioning bodies IMO.

If the alphabet boys would like to be real 'governing' bodies, then they should mandate obligatory random testing for all ranked fighters. If the fighters will not commit themselves to such a scheme they should lose their ranking. It's obvious in its simplicity really.

It could be financed via sanctioning fee.

I betcha that Sauerland will have a random test system installed for Ward if he meets Abraham in the tourney...the fight will be most likely in the states (and the finals won't be in Oakland if Ward and a SE promoted fighter would reach the final but on the Eastcoast, most probably NY MSG).

All fights being promoted by Sauerland Event demand for random drug testing, even for the Super Six...

Local commissions in the US always stands above those sanctioning bodies and there will always be one to go along with them...those abc bodies would be ****** to do so as they would lose a lot of promoters...it's all about the local US boxing commissions...

That's what I'm thinking but I'll try to figure out (I'll call someone tomorrow who should varify if that's the case or not).
