Cotto HAS to rematch Margarito and Pacquiao to rescue his legacy.

The Margarito fight is for obvious reasons. Mostly because it was such a great fight that he was in up until the 8th round or so.

But he needs to put his money where his mouth is for accusing Tony of cheating.

If you really think he cheated you, fight him a second time and prove it was the wraps.

I doubt he will.

But the Pac fight is more important imo because Pac just abused him and made him fight like a woman from round 6 and on.

Cotto needs to redeem himself for that loss.

He dies if he rematches either. Cotto was Tony's ***** first. But he cheated on him with Pac.

I think the pacman fight will be the same but definatly a rematch with margarito.

He should stay away from Pac, but imagine the build up to a Margarito rematch. If mainstream news gets behind that fight, it could outsell Pac-Clottey and maybe even Mayweather-Mosley. A fighter who was ahead on the scorecards, but eventually got battered by an opponent who more than likely loaded his gloves and probably caused him irreversible damage. That's a fight you might only see in the movies.

But I understand Cotto is a professional, and he doesn't want to get involved with Margarito. He doesn't want to give him that payday. But if Cotto comes out on top, that will be the highlight of his career.

Good post, you are 100% right, a fight with Marg, will be a huge fight that people will pay to see. Here is a fighter trying to avenge his first lost to a guy who many believed he cheated. It will bring all the drama, if Cotto wins his next fight and gets a new trainer, a fight with Marg will be something big for boxing.

The Margarito fight is an AT classic so he gets a pass.

But the Pac fight was a total disappointment.

If you look at it that way, Margarito should then rematch SSM, cause that more that anything was a disappointing *ss whipping beatdown. More so than any loss Cotto has recieved.
