While I know it won't happen because Campillo and his promoters have no juice in boxing, would be nice if they ordered any rematch to be held in Madrid, since Shumenov has had both hometown advantage and the help of utterly corrupt judging in their two previous fights

I'd say pretty good chances at a rematch as it would be the 3rd meeting between the two fighters

The judge with the 117-111 score for Sumenov should be banned from ever judging another title fight because she is either utterly clueless or bought off
yeah this was a straight up robbery, and pretty amazed that Campillo could have only 3 rounds scored for him

fights like this scored the way they are really make one question the integrity of the sport

this bout didn't go down like Collazo-Berto a fight 2 judges scored 114-113

Sumenov got much more credit then he deserved and was absolutely gifted a win

SAMPSON LEWKOWICZ is a THIEF anyway!

I watched the fight on MSG and Shumenov did enough to win a close one. He showed a big pair of balls and landed the bigger shots all night. No controversy with the judges it was split decision and Patricia Morse Jarman is a great judge. Sour g****s from one of the biggest thieves in boxing SAMPSON LEWKOWICZ, who robs all his fighters and steals fighters from promoters like Chris John, etc.. It's known as KARMA.. Cong**** Beibut!!!!!!!

I like Shumenov, he has an intensity about him that's great, but clearly they are moving this guy way to fast. He got schooled, plain and simple and was being rocked around the ring like a rag doll. I think he won 4 rounds tops. Amazing heart he showed, but horrible, horrible decision.
more like he is moving himself way too fast, he is self promoted and self managed.

well to be fair, they gave the first fight to Campillo.

Where do you get your info? Any proof? As far as i know, Chris John is promoted by Golden Boy and advised by Sampson, who brought him to the US to get more exposure and money.

Making accusation like that over the internet is considered libel if you have nothing to back it up and since I know Sampson personally, and he is actually very honest and trustworthy, i'm pretty sure you dont have anything to back up your statement so i hope he files suit.

I didn't say it wasn't. The first fight was in his real hometown, the second in his adopted hometown. My point was that he got to fight the champion at home the first fight, and got a horrible, crappy decision in the second fight. So it would only be fair if the third fight were in Madrid, Campillo's home. It would be fair, but then again, if boxing were fair he'd still be champion

Ok, now there are three people in the world who think Shumenov won. The two judges and you. Even Shumenov knows he got a gift from delusional judges

I like Shumenov's style and thought he was in the fight, but no way did he win it. I would give Campillo a comfortable decision, not a runaway win.

I was about to say the same. Most of the fighters with Sampson have managers and promoters. He is only the adviser.
