This fight isnt signed yet,and if it does get signed I cant see there being 40-50 mil to split. The numbers dont add up.
Shane Mosley: I keep probably about $15 million, it's pretty good.

As much as we would all like Marquez/Khan on the card it really isn't possible. That fight can do a huge gate and get big time viewers so HBO is gonna put it on the undercard. Ortiz/Campbell could be exciting in a one sided kind of way and as for Alvarez, everyone wants to see them and big up's to GBP for putting a future star on the card. Hopefully they can give us a real undercard like they did for Mayweather/Marquez(I know the fights ended up being bad but for an undercard the names were good).Comment

He deserves it based on the people he's fought compared to Floyd. That is more than fair. His fight with a shot Vargas in the rematch did more buys than Floyd's fight with Baldomir. And the only PPV of where you can say that Floyd was the A-side was against JMM.Comment

This is probably a lot closer to the truth, which is why I am a bit cynical about the fact that Floyd hasnt signed yet. I think this isnt going to do ppv what they think it is. Hardcore fans will wanna see this fight, but to the casual fan or the bar owner etc. the dissapointment factor about it not being pac-mayweather will probably kick in. I dont see Mosley getting much more than 5m for this fight.Comment

I don't know if I give Naazim too much props but he really has me thinking about that Mosley has a chane to win... before Naazim I never thought that... he was missing something but now with him even at 38... I give him a chance... still you need to execute the gameplan... I'm excited tooComment

On June 17, 2000, Mosley met De La Hoya in Los Angeles for the WBC and IBA Welterweight titles. After twelve rounds, Mosley emerged with a split decision victory. During the fight neither man was in danger of going down, but both had badly swollen faces at the end and De La Hoya was bleeding from the nose for several rounds. Mosley earned a minimum of $15 million, while De La Hoya was guaranteed $35 million.Comment
