well its just an example. Maybe like Shane won the first 3 rounds but Floyd has figured him out and won the last 2 but can continue because of the cut and now he loses on the cards 3-2 even though everyone felt he clearly had the momentum. Maybe Floyd beats Shane fairly easy in everyone's mind but the judges give Shane a one point split decision victory. You have to be safe but Im sure he doesnt plan on using it, lol

Is this the first time he has asked for a rematch clause? It makes perfect sense, because if Shane wins, then pac is left out.

You are right because all those 140lbs is no match for Pac. There will be no one left at 147.

Now what I find interesting is that usually in a championship fight the champion is the one with the rematch clause not the challenger... just thought that was funny

Also Goldenboy could try and rob Mayweather just like in the Delahoya fight. You can't trust them if your Mayweather. Floyd won 8-4 against delahoya and they called it a split .

A rematch clause is nothing new unless you're new to boxing. Especially in big fights. Most fighters in Mayweather's position use them and I'm almost certain this is not the "first time" Mayweather has used it. He's just never had to exorcise it. I can name multiple fighters that have had them in their contract.
