Why Floyd asked for a re-match clause.

If Shane beats Floyd he would go after Pacman.

With the clause in Place Pac is frozen out.

Shanes GBP contract also runs out after the Floyd fight.

So the re-match clause was a stroke of genius IMO by Floyd and GBP.

I think this was Oscars and Schafers doing. They looking at what if Shane wins. That means he will fight Pac and not be a GBP fighter since his contract is running out after the Floyd fight.

With him locked in for another fight. They can make some more money off a rematch.

The guy frozen out is Pacman.

Great business decision by Team Mayweather. That was probably the main sticking point in the fight getting signed. Pac should have just taken the tests.

Pacquiao wont be frozen. He will simply make a Marquez-Pacquiao III fight. Regardless of if the fans like it or not.

I like the rematch clause. If Mayweather loses, he can avenge his loss right off the bat.
