I like your imagination, do you also have imaginary friends?

A decision would be fine, but Arum might be thinking "Have him stopped, and we can carry on this monster image for Pacquiao".

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but there's a first for everything.
      just quit while you're ahead.

      you sound dumb.

this is his lottery right here. not only will he make a mil but if he wins he'll make much more.

people and their silly "take a dive" talk...... ignorance.

people take money to lose on the lower levels of the sport. when you hit this high a level , it doesn't happen much.
Sure, but think about it - even if Clottey were to stop or just decision Pacquiao, there's no way he (or Arum) would be able to command an astronomical price against the Mayweather-Mosley winner. Having Pacquiao continue his stoppage streak, however, would increase his stock to the point where they'd stand to make far more money than a Clottey win, in terms of leverage for the next fight.

            that's top rank.

wtf does clottey give a **** about what top rank makes?

clottey will do what's best for him. not what's best for top rank.

            quit it bro.

of course top rank would prefer clottey lose. that doesn't mean that's what clottey prefers.

pacquiao-mayweather is a ton more money than pacquiao-mosley.

is mosley gonna take a dive too?

            please.

you underestimate the pride of a fighter like Clottey....if Arum wanted to protect PAC, he wouldn't have put him in there against Cotto

I don't think they are asking Josh to take a dive, but I have no doubt that if it is a close fight on the scorecards it will go to Pacquiao. Arum already ****ed Josh over to set up Pacquiao-Cotto, he will **** him over again to set up Pac-Floyd

He doesn't, but Top Rank does. And he's still their property for at least this one fight.

With the right extras, Top Rank might still be able to convince Clottey to do them a favour... for doing him a favour by getting the big payday.

It's a forum, slag. And it's a good change of pace from all the PED crap.

                    (What's your previous username, anyway?)

Method Man sang it - "Cash Rules Everything Around Me". Clottey needs the cash, Top Rank need their boy to do his thing.

Who knows. My thought on this only extends to Top Rank right now. But then, there was Hopkins and De La Hoya back in the day...

Shifty geezers, the lot of 'em.
