Saul Alvarez, is he really that good?

I saw his last fight and was not impressed by him. He seems to always get hit flush by those bums he's facing, I don't see what all the fuzz is about. The kid gots no defense.

I watched some highlights earlier today out of interest. Not to impressed. Seems slow, and not overly powerful. Not one shot ko power.

I thought he looked ordinary against Larry Mosley... But, he is young, so he has time to develop and get better. And, it helps that he has a huge following in Mexico... That GBP do not have to rush him and get take their time in developing him into a good fighter...

Let's not forget he is only 19. He still has a lot of growing.
I don't know who his trainer is though?
He should step it up soon though.

too sloppy, wide, & over eager with his punches.

Let me know when golden boy finally develops a fighter from prospect to contender to star to hall of famer.

He should have went with top rank.

Don't put too much stock into unproven prospects.

As far as I know, his trainer is named Eddy Reynoso.

Reynoso also trains Daiki and Koki Kameda. Daiki is decent, but Koki is the current WBC and lineal flyweight champion.

He's a 19 year old with no amateur experience.
