Tell me who has floyd fought with the speed and power of shane?????
The best guy he's fought, and the one who was able to duplicate Mayweather's combinations is Emanuel Augustus. I was having another look at that fight the other day, and I was thinking what a shame that Augustus didn't have a good manager, and trainer. He has a boxing brain, and is very slick, undoubtedly would have gained a championship, although as I noted, he has had a couple or three lesser regional titles..

It surprises me that anyone could think that Mayweather's "defining" fight should be against a 38 year old boxer, (no matter how fast or powerful) who has to be a fair distance on the downside of his career.

I like Mosley, he always puts out a good fight, and, as a lightweight he was devastatingly fast and powerful. But that was many years ago.

On another point, Mosley won the first fight with Oscar "going away", in other words by a good margin, about 8 rounds to 4. A split decision result just showed how biased the powers-that-be were towards Golden Balls, who, in this fight was outsped and outpowered.

In their 2nd fight (I think at 154 lbs) it was a much slower, more painstaking affair, with Mosley, who was behind after 6 rounds, proceeded to throw solid right hands to the body, which had the effect of sickening Oscar, no matter how much he bent over \and tried to hide behind his specially made "corset" which item protected him well up into his chest area. I've written somewhere before, that I fully expected to see Mosley's fist coming through Oscar's chest and sticking out of his back.

I little "hyperbole", but nevertheless, it paints an accurate picture of the fight over the last 6 rounds.

the scorecards said that DLH lost by split decision but anyone with a brain could see that it was actually a UD for floyd mayweather. even ledderman had it 4 rounds to 8 for floyd. the only reason DLH lost by split was because it's GOLDEN BOY FOR GOODNESS SAKES. known for dishing out bad decisions.

shane has to be really active to win this fight. he needs to actually throw a stiff jab & not paw with it. i favor floyd in this fight. shane is gonna be on a year & a half break by the time fight night comes.
