For a guy with his talent the best guy in his resume is Castillo. Oscar is the biggest name but we know Oscar loses all his big fights. Mosley, Oscar, Cotto, Pac would go undefeated thru floyds resume. Floyd has good fighters in his resume but where is Tzyu, Mosley(ok maybe he'll fight him after all), Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Pacquiao?? But he's still a ATG tho..

Since moving up to WW Floyd has fought the following:

          Sharmba Mitchell - Mitchell's 2nd fight @ WW
Zab Judah - Coming off a loss to Baldo
Baldo - Paper champ who pretty much fell off all rankings after this fight
          Hatton - a career JrWW
          JMM - a career lightweight

So tell me, since 2005 what has Floyd really done to say he's the WW champion? What top WW has he fought? If he hasn't fought ANY credible WW's in over 5 years, he obviously had to duck SOMEONE.

Mosley is a great start though...if it happens.

Your right, too bad he doesn't have a resume to match his skills.

When did Pac fight Mosley , Williams and Margarito??

So according to you guys logic. Pac ducked them as well right?
if those 3 are still at 147 and pac had been at 147 for 5 years and still hasn't fought them.

              then sure.

i don't like to say people ducked other people.

too many factors go into a fight not being made. a lot of it is out of the hands of the fighters as well.

plus you can't really fight EVERYONE.

what i like to do is look at who they fought and compare it to who they didn't fight to judge how they did.

              example:

              pacquiao at 135.

              he fought david diaz.

he didn't fight joel casamayor , juan dian , nate campbell.

hence to me pacquiao didn't do much at 135.

now people say pac ducked guzman and valero.

i look at 130 for pac.

he fought barrera , morales , marquez.

he didn't fight guzman and valero.

the guzman/valero talk doesn't hold water to me then because the guys he fought were better and ranked higher than the guys people say he didn't fight.

that's how i judge how tough people's resumes are.

                Are you ******?

He won the Lineal WW World Championship from Baldimir. Thats how he was the WW Champion.

And how was Baldimir a Paper Champ.

"Mitchells second fight". It was Floyds first ass clown...lol.

baldomir had to be fought. he was the champ. blame zab's lame ass.

that said don't trump it up as some great win.

it was a good win in a fight that floyd had to take.

Floyd and Pac have good resumes. That cant be argued.

Floyd is fighting the Number 1 WW in his division and who also happens to be the P4P Number 3. So b-scene can put to bed the bull**** that he never fought a real WW.

It was great win considering what it meant. He won the Lineal WW Championship of the World cant take that away from him.
