The hate for khan on here is starting to become ******. He's prob the top 5 most posted about boxers on here at the moment, yet most the posts are there to say he's a nobody lol. Whats annoying is people's complaints about him..
- Hes had fame achieving nothing - erm silver medal at the olympics at the age of 17, does that ring a bell?Audley harrisson, andre ward etc all got good coverage after their medals. The difference with Khan was how young he was. Also how fast and flashy he looked when he turned pro.
- he should be ashamed fighting jmm whose much smaller than him..erm where are the "hatton should be ashamed to fight jmm" threads??
-He's too big for LW he should move upto lmw. hatton was huge for lw and so are many others for their weights no-one complains there?
- He fights featherweights only..erm salita weighed in at 146 lbs for the fight he had before khan, kotelnik has always weighed in at 140, barerra's last eight fights before the khan fight were at 130, khan fought him at 135. Oisin ***an fights mostly between 140-144..Khan fought him at 135. So tell me where all the featherweights he fought are?the only one of note is barerra and he only had to jump 5lbs.
-He's ducking Maidana. Erm no officially he hasnt ducked him yet, the most GBP have said is he'll fight jmm and then maidana, if not then it'll be maidana next.
-He's got a glass chin and he's soon gonna get sparked out. Yeah he's got a glass chin, but he's also fast with decent power and good skill. The truth is he'll beat most decent lw's out there.
- He's fought nobodies. Hes only had 23 fights and is only 23 years old.
Manny pacquiao - 23rd fight fought a guy with a record of won 7 lost 3..22nd fight won 23 lost 12.
Ricky Hatton- 26th fight..won 47 lost 25..25th fight won 19 lost 7
Maidana- 25th fight...won 19 lost 11
AMIR KHAN- last 3 fights..salita, kotelnik and barerra
So compared to hatton, pacquiao and Maidana hes making good progress.
if you wanna hate on him hate on him..but dont say i wouldnt mind the guy but i dislike him because (one of the above lame excuses).. So give us a break with the lame excuses to hate on him.
