    Victor Ortiz - Nate Campbell

According to The Ring Magazine, Victor Ortiz may fight in the undercard of a possible Mayweather-Mosley showdown on May 1st or 8th, and for his opponent, it looks like "[Nate] Campbell apparently is the front runner". ( http://www.ringtv.com/blog/1570/figh...es_first_show/ )

Now the Alatorre fight is pretty much to keep him busy, no threat at all, the guy lost 8 out of his last 10 fights including a loss to Jeffrey Resto, who got annihilated by Ortiz in two rounds.

But what about a possible fight with Nate Campbell? Very awkward opponent, frustrated Juan Diaz, when he was at the height of his popularity. How does everyone see this playing out?

Would love to see this matchup. VO is a baddass. But Nate is nobody's footstool. Ask Juan Diaz...

Yeah, just read about Golden Boy planning on putting Saul Alvarez there. Now they could definitely both fit in. Ortiz vs Campbell as co main event before the BIG fight, and Alvarez with an easy opponent just to start his career in the US.

What a card that would be, mouthwatering...

Oh snap, it gets even better. GBP played everyone like a video game. Brought up GBP fighters Saul & Nate's name up in all the Floyd talk until people were sure they were the opponents. Now they put them on the undercard after they boosted the exposure for them both and now it makes a Ortiz victory look even better.

Think about what they are doing though. Can you imagine a card with Saul vs a top 10 WW or big name 140 pounder, also Ortiz vs Nate, with Shane-Floyd as the headline, and then 2 weeks later they have Khan vs JMM? They would shut the game down with that ****

I'm still not sold on Ortiz, but Nate has been sitting on the couch too long.

it would have been more exciting if Ortiz-&-Campbell against Maidana alone.

That would be a good fight a good crossroad bout between a young guy that has some question marks and an old vet that needs a win to get back into the title picture.

Would be a real good fight for a PPV undercard.

Nate will make Ortiz quit. His body relentless body attack will make Victor fold like a lawn chair. They are throwing this kid in with an old lion.
