He's right to a degree actually. He fights much like a featherweight pacquiao with better technique.

Gamboa has lateral movement....when he's moving. when he's attacking or defending he tends to move in straight lines.

When he punches he goes straight forward throwing a many punches asssss he can get off, and most of them wildly. He is blessed wth speed and reflexes thats what helps him a lot!!

Off the top of my head I can think of 4 of his fights that were pretty good (Barrera 1, John 1, Barrios and Soto) he is a pretty good fighter when the guy against him fights a certain way. Now he is limited against fighter who fight correctly against him as displayed by the difference between the first and second Berrera/John fights.

He is not always the most exciting fighter but he is not the second comming of Smoke Gainer or Zahir Raheem either. He is a solid fighter though not the best but he is a solid opponent for almost anyone.

Funny how you guys sleep on juarez like this, Juarez has only been beaten by special fighters(Soto, Barrera, Marquez, John). Gamboa and Lopez do not go the distance with him, you guysare way too hype off their latest wins.
