In the latest issue of FHM there was an interview with Stallone. naturally the conversation turned to boxing. Here is that is part of the interview.( this is before pacquiao-mayweather was cancelled)

FHM: The worlds two greatest boxers Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather go toe to toe in las vegas, who wins?

Stallone: Floyd Mayweathers not a good fighter..

FHM: Oh do shutup..

Stallone: No seriously.He would run like the wind. A good fighter has killer instinct. A good fighter isnt happy when he escapes a fight without getting hurt. Mayweather doesnt like fightin toe to toe with somebody, he just looks for openings. Hes like a viper. If Mayweather stands there and fights, i have Pacquiao to win. In fact, ive started goin to big fights in las vegas with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis a fair bit recently, and its something we talk a great deal about.

LOL so there u have it folks.. rockys not a fan of floyd. id love to be a fly on the wall when rocky, terminator and john mcclain are talkin about boxing matters.

He's a man with an opinion, not some expert. The traits he described sound like a pretty damn good fighter if you ask me. A guy who can escape a fight without getting hurt, a guy who doesnt go toe to toe, a guy who looks for openings, a viper. Sounds like a pretty good fighter to me... Just from watching the Rocky movies, tells me that Stallone knows very little about boxing. Watch the match between Drago and Rocky and you'll know what I mean. He's no more qualified in his opinion than anyone here on this message board.

Stallone is friends with Roach. I remember him calling Cotto, Catto. I doubt he watches much boxing. If he did Rocky would have been alot better of a boxer. Carl Weathers on the other hand did his homework lol.

lol, says the guy who portrays a boxer as someone who should take the beating of his life. I'm sure he thinks Gatti (RIP) was one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Its the idiots like Stallone that think boxing is about how many punches you can eat without getting knocked out. Boxing is a science not a strong man competition.
