Big fights with big money involved take time to make.

Where was all the bitching when Pac vs. Hatton/Cotto was taking forever.

    Exactly.

Shut up and see what unfolds.

Only difference is we heard something about each of those negotiations every day...may/mosley..."the negotiations are cordial"

But there's hasn't been a single report other than "everyone's happy and things are going great.'' And that report was last week.

I agree 9 days is probably too short to come up with an agreement. But when was the less time a big fight like this was being negotiated, but not have any type of news update within 9 days.

Pac and Mayweather came up with an actual verbal agreement that took less than 9 days, of course that was before the whole blood test fiasco.

Floyd vs. Mosley kind of snuck up on both camps. No one expected Berto/Earthquake thing to do down. Somethign will be done within the next 2 weeks.

No one expected Berto to pull out. I know big fights take time and I just want to hear any type of update so I know as a fan to stay hopeful that the negotiations are on the right track.

I'll stay hopeful for now, but if another 9 days passes by without even just a news update, then you know the fight isn't happening.

there was a BIG difference. pac/cotto/hatton all said publicly they wante to fight way before the contract was signed, they ironed out the contract details after. whereas *****mayfloyd cant even say it straight publicly he wants to fight mosley.

but yeah it hasnt been that longsince berto dropped out, so i could still wait.
