    Thoughts on Marquez?

Everyone was blown away by the Fight of the Century and nobody's talking about the first bout. Marquez kind of impressed me. Polo knew he wouldn't win a decision (esp. after the KD) and he became aggressive. As a result, it was a feast day for Marquez. And what made it better for JMM was he found out that Polo had no power, so Marquez also became aggressive even exposed his chin a little bit. Polo just couldn't do anything to hurt Marquez.

I thought it was gonna be a sleeper but turned out so much better than I anticipated, and I think he would really make an exciting fight with the big three (EM,MAB,MP).

Everyone disses him cause he countered Pac to death in their fight after rd 1. That was a great comeback, no matter who you were pullin for!

            Great skills. Beautiful style.

But generally boring and never will be a PPV material.

Even when he knew he hurt his man, he wouldn't even take the opportunity of knocking him out.

Dude, I think you're on the wrong thread. It was Victor Polo who he fought tonight, not Manny Pacquiao.

Yeah, JMM's fight was SO BORING. I watched the Mavericks-Rockets game 7 instead until the Chico-Castillo fight. JMM always complains about how he doesn't get respect. Watch the tape dumb****!!!

**** Marquez. Pac gave him a chance for a rematch, he chickened out. A rematch might happen, it might not and as we've seen remtaches don't happen right away. Pac aint fightin this foo anytime soon for alls I know!

As a boxing purist, I enjoyed it. He should have gone for the KO after he knocked Victor down, though. If wants more money, he has to appeal to the casual fans of boxing and go out there and destroy opponents.
