It would be an interesting fight, because Floyd would have to really fight almost exclusively on the inside to win. A lot of people really seem to think Floyd just runs around but he is a very effective inside fighter (whether he breaks the rules or not).

It really boils down to that, if Floyd can get in close and fight inside he can win that way but from the outside Hearns is almost unbeatable.

At this point you are talking about a WW fight with the Motor City Cobra Tommy The HitMan Hearns. Honestly I do not think Floyd could hurt Tommy at 147. Tommy would use his jab and throw blows to the body to slow Floyd down. Hie would would defintely win early rounds on work rate alone. After about 5 rounds or so Floyd would be forced to fight and need to get inside Tommy's chest. I think after about 11 rounds and remember this would be a 15 rounder Floyd would be battered and beat up to a TKO.

Man this would be one-sided. Everything that gives Floyd trouble, Hearns would bring to the table. Hearns would not only win, he would KO Floyd unless Floyd ran like a track star first time he got hurt.

Hearns and that straight right hand vs Floyd and his laser beam lead right. Hearns pumping out that rope of a jab and follwoign it with the right digging to the body. Floyd standing right in front of him making him miss and returning fire. I think it would be a hell of a fight. Don't just vote I want to hear a post on how you think the fight would have played out. I listed a number of factors including the reff anf the ring size.....Lefty

              Weight: 147
              Ring: 20 x 20 Feet (smaller ring)
              Gloves: 8 Ounces (punchers gloves)
Refferee: Kenny Bayless (does not liek clinching)
              Venue: Michigan Stadium (capacity 107,501)

I am bringing this thread back. I think this is one of the most interesting match ups I ever posted here......GuNzZ

You're not knocking out Floyd. Too elusive, too quick, too fast, too good of a defender. The kid sees punches before they're even thrown. Spars with heavyweights, yall all idiots

                But Hearns wins decision though

Not that fair of a fight, Hearns prime is at WW. Floyd's prime is at LW.

                  Hearns late Ko.

I mean Hearns did have a poweful right hand but thats all he had and he had no chin

and with Floyd being such a defensive fighter Hearns wouldn't be alble to land a clean shot with a lot power behind it

so i think Floyd will outbox him early and stop him late i mean Tommy does havs a puncher's chance but against a great defensive fighter like Floyd Mayweather that chance is very slim
This is one of the dumbest post I ever read in my life.

Hearns still K.O Mayweather , even after 2 years !

                      EDIT :

When Hearns attacks , he is like a big pacquiao with much longer arms and much more powerful punches , he would kill Mayweather
and don't Compare style of Leonard to Mayweather's
they are completely different , Leonard is arguably the smartest in boxing history
