    Castillo and Chico's chin

    We all knew Corrales had resolve, having been knocked down 8 times previously but also gotten up 8 times, but tonight he showed me something new - a great chin!

    The Freitas fight kinda let me know he had one, but I just thought it was because Freitas was running around a lot shaking his ass (thanks James Toney) and not properly sitting on his punches.

    Tonight Corrales took a lot of bombs (remember those inside right uppercuts), and didn't go down until that perfect left-hook landed in the 10th. Even then he wasn't out. He had his wits about him, took his time and got up at nine. Talk about underrated chin.

          Yea it is interesting. I have seen to many of his fights but I have seen him go down several times but he always has his wits about him. Its like his brain shuts off for a second and he goes down but when he hits the canvas it reboots.

              Was it underrated or not?Many of the Corrales supporters thought Corrales's dynamite power would floor and KO Castillo early.All this talk of Chico's chin being underrated,it was more like Castillo chin was underrated because he was hit by bombs and never went down!The only way he was getting kayoed is by getting kayoed on his feet.Now 60fights and neven knocked down once.

              Hopefuly Corrales accepts a rematch.

                      he has a iron chin..his chin is what hurt him....if he had a weak chin he would have went down frmo the first left hand and then cleared his head lol

                          Castillo's chin was NEVER underrated in my opinion. Who's the fool who said that? Chico can't put JLC down and neither do Mayweather.

                              Castillo has a very good chin and it worked against him in thsi fight. If only he had not gotten caught up on the ropes against a huge puncher he might've gotten a chance to finish.

                                  there shud be a rematch, n castillo will win that. i have to see the fight to know if premature stoppage or w/e
