At the M2 Lounge in the heart of Manhattan in New York City, Winky Wright’s Winky Promotions put on a show featuring heavyweight contender Derric Rossy (23-2, 13KOs) in the main event. The fight was scheduled for eight rounds. It didn't even go one. Rossy blew away Alexis Mejias (10-3, 4KOs) in less than two minutes. Rossy didn't waste too much time with throwing a few bombs to send Mejias down to the mat. He managed to beat the count but a few moments and a few combinations later put him back down for the night. Who is Derric Rossy and how did he end up headlining a card at one of NYC's nicest clubs? I would love to see who actually paid to see this. The venue is cool, but seriously I don't know any hardcore fans who went to this much less knew about it. -

Rossy is a former college football player who played at BC, he has a couple loses but one was to Eddie Chambers and the other was to Dimitrenko the bad thing was he got knocked out by both guys.
A fringe guy but atleast he looks somewhat like an athlete.Comment

I wanted to see a battle of the old favorites of mine but I'm okay with rossy.Holyfield should retire if he loses but he said in the late 90's he would fight until he'd 50...he's done but he's got 3 years to go.foreman fought till 48,mercer still fights at 48 & holmes fought until 50 as well.Comment
