just watched the fight again and to anyone whos not ******ed whitaker won, theres no two ways about it. After the fight whoever was commentating said "Pernell Whitaker, exhausted, emotionally and physically " the other guy goes "i think u just witnessed the best fight of his life bar none." Pernell fought his heart out that night. Fought a hostile crowd who were all said to be "in disbelief" at what he was doing to the man everyone thought was invincible. when the draw was announced see the look on his face hes absolutely gutted. Chavez must have thought it was cinco de mayo.sweet pea didnt deserve that, Those judges can go **** themselves.

Yeah. The thing about this fight was how clear it is to score. There is just no way in hell you can reasonably give JCC more than 4 rounds. Just no way. So yeah, that and the significance of the fight make it one of the worst decisions in history.

i just watched it on youtube lol. its still easily watchable theres a few different uploads of that fight . i cud of watched in the lowest resolution goin and still its obvious pernells takin chavez back to school

It takes the cake in that this was a huge fight, but Pernell's robbery against JLR was much worse in that JLR didn't even win a round IMO.

JCC 4rounds? i didnt give him 2 rounds. i thought pernell was beating him worse than taylor without taken any shots. he out boxed JCC like floyd did marquez if not worse
