This is actually an old article before the whole blood test issue.
Freddie Roach exclusive: Mayweather so good Pacquiao would need ‘perfect fight’

I agree. Its crazy watching Floyd's early fights though. **** is so weird seeing such a young & inexpericened fighter being so smart in the ring, with killer fundementals, and master defense. You just dont see nothing like that anymore. Pretty much no one has good D now, e****ally when they are young and hardly anyone is a complete fighter. I would love to see him let his hands go like that again though. Even if he does it half as much he would kill these cats
Floyd displayed tremendous skill when he was young early in his career against opponents like Tony Pep and Genaro Hernandez back in his 130 pound days.Comment

You can`t improve perfection. He's admitting the truth, the one thing i always saw as a weakness to Floyd is his trainers. I never thought that they pushed him to his limits, he def trains himself. I could sit there and hold up the mitts for him and tell him yes youre doing good. The good thing is that he def trains hard and is dedicated but would love to see what a better trainer could have done for him.Comment

Bias aside, I believe that both Pac and Floyd have the skills to be the antidote to each other, but the problem with it is we won't get to see it, at least for now, until this whole drug testing fiasco clears.
Roach is all straight-talk for sure, but he's also playing mind games here.
Like early on in the Pac-Cotto press conference, he claimed that the fight would go the distance, then mid-way through he claimed Pac would annihilate Cotto in 1 round, and then later on settling down at 9 rounds.
Roach knows what he's doing...Comment

Trash-talk aside Roach is usually very honest when it comes to analyzing a potential fight for any of his fighters.Comment
